The Opportunity
Outstanding mathematicians are invited to apply for two continuing full-time Lectureships at Level B or C as appropriate. We seek applications in any area of pure mathematics that enhances the School's research profile. Applicants should have a PhD, an outstanding research record and proven teaching ability.
Appointment will be made at a level appropriate to the successful applicant's qualifications, experience and in accordance with classification standards for each level.

The Benefits
Remuneration package: $83,363 - $98,994 / $102,119 - $117,749 pa Level B/Level C (includes employer superannuation of 17%)
This role is a full-time position, however flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:
Level B:
Essential
1. PhD in Pure Mathematics
2. Demonstrated capacity to engage in outstanding research consistent with the strengths and
strategic directions of the School
3. Ability to supervise postgraduate research students
4. Potential to earn income through external research granting bodies
5. Ability to develop and deliver innovative and exciting teaching in pure mathematics
6. Demonstrated capacity to work constructively and collaboratively with colleagues in furthering
the aims of the School
7. Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
Desirable
8. Ability to represent the School and the discipline in their dealings with internal and external
groups
9. Experience in working in research or teaching teams in a multidisciplinary environment.
10. A strong record of research publications
11. An established record of research grant support
12. A record of postgraduate/honours student supervision
Level C:
Essential
1. PhD in Pure Mathematics
